Dear family and friends,
Words cannot describe this week…. The Lord is so kind and blesses us so much. He gives us just what we need and then a little bit more. Here is the day by day:
Tuesday, April 12:
We had normal studies followed by lunch with a recent convert who was visiting from Switzerland. Then we ran to a lesson with a less active member that went amazingly. Then we went out and contacted about or English Course for a bit. Then we went to lunch with K– and had a great lesson with her, then we all walked together over to English, which went splendidly. Next, to finish off our day, we watched the Restoration film with E– and a member.
Wednesday, April 13:
We got up early in the morning and went to meet our friend M– to do service for him, but we were surprised to meet his family, consisting of his girlfriend and their little 2-year-old girl. We then drove with them for about an hour to their garden, where we did service and met the grandparents. They are all interested in the gospel and have agreed to start working with us. After the service, we had lunch with them before we traveled to an old Basilica where we taught a more formal lesson and invited them as a family to start working to baptism.
Thursday, April 14:
We had regular studies, followed by a lesson with a less active member. and then we had district meeting. Then we went out and contacted for a bit on how faith changes us. Then we had game night with some members and investigators.

Friday, April 15:
We had studies until we traveled out to a member who invited us over for lunch. Then from there we went to a recent converts home and taught her a lesson. After that, we traveled back to Olomouc and contacted on the street for a bit, until we began making preparations for the baptism!
Saturday, April 16:
We woke up and met E– at a bus station with all the other YSA and then we traveled out to Podebrady for the baptism. Everyone was worried that it was going to rain as it had all week. However, no sooner had we arrived, did every cloud in the sky disappear. It turned into the most beautiful day, and we had a wonderful baptismal service. The Spirit was so strong and I will never forget it. After the baptismal service, we traveled home and went out for a quick two-hour service project, and then we went with all the YSA and Ellie for a celebration dinner.
Sunday, April 17:
We had church and E– was confirmed. She is now a member! And she has the most powerful, simple, and sweet testimony I have ever seen. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father blessed me to be able to be a small part of her conversion. After church, we taught a lesson to a less active convert from Brno, before we grabbed lunch. Then we went out and contacted for a short while until we did our chalk display. Then we had dinner and that was my week!
The most amazing part of my week was, of course, the baptism. E– was so nervous before it that I began to be a little worried myself. But as we walked out the great feeling of peace began to come over me and I could see it come over her. When we performed the baptism, she went under worried about the water, the people watching, the enormity of the decision she was making, and many other things. However, when she came up she came up smiling and you could see the peace that she felt. I testify that the Gospel is true. That through baptism we can receive the blessings of the Atonement in our lives, and through Christ, we can be clean. Let us love our God with all of our, let him change us, let the power of his gospel work in your life. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
