Dear Family and Friends,
So we have training coming up this next Monday so that means we have moved our P-day for the week to Saturday, but here is the day by day for this past week.
Tuesday: Was rather normal, studies, and contacting and such. And we ended the night with English and dinner with some of the member from the class.
Wednesday: Studies in the morning and then we were out contacting for most of the day except for several of the lessons that we had set up.
Thursday: Was a good day. We had district meeting in the morning, where we trained on how we can better listen to people to determine their needs and concerns. After that, we had lunch, a lesson with a new investigator named Tony, a lesson with a member preparing to go on a mission, and then we contacted with her for a bit. To wrap up the night we played football with a whole bunch of little kids for sports night.
Friday: We got up at four and traveled to Prague in order so that we could do visa work for Elder Cardon. When we got there he went off with his group, and I was able to have an interview with President McConkie which was an amazing experience as always. After that, I was able to talk to the new Mission President just briefly before going to lunch with Elder Geier, Sister Bailey, and several other older missionaries while our companions got their visa work done. Then we traveled back to Olomouc with some of the other missionaries, and from there we went to dinner with a member for their birthday.
Saturday. Today so far, we have gone strawberry picking and had lunch with some members, but that has been all for now.
Not a whole lot of time for a spiritual thought today but I just want to bear a quick testimony that I know that God is our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ is his son and our and Redeemer, and that our success in our lives is dependent upon our commitment to have a strong relationship with each of them and our commitment to have good relationships with those around us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
