. . . as we use all of those things which our Father gives us, we live fuller and happier lives . . .

Dear Family and Friends,

So this week was quick, and to be honest I don’t remember a ton of it.. So here is a very quick summary of it all:

Tuesday, October 18:
We studied and found in HK for a bit. Then we were off to Pardubice to have lunch as a District, and then we did a singing display for a couple of hours. When our voices started cracking, we went back to HK, where we contacted until English.
Wednesday, October 19:
Studies early in the morning, followed by a recent convert lesson. Then, immediately after, we had District meeting, followed by lunch and another singing display. And if you remember that young girl from last week, we saw her during it, and she joined us in contacting! She was helping us try and stop people to talk to them about the Gospel! She has only known about the gospel of Jesus Christ for a week, but she wants so bad to help everyone know about it. It is absolutely amazing. After that, we went finding for a bit, and then we helped a member transport some of his photography work to the church building. To end the day we had a lesson, with a new investigator named Marek, and he cooked us duck with zeli. So, that was way nice. And then we had a great lesson about the plan of salvation with him.
Thursday, October 20:
The whole day we were out contacting. In the morning we were on the streets, afternoon we were tracting, and when it was about 7 we did some calls.
Friday, October 21:
We traveled up to Liberec (which is absolutely gorgeous) to do a baptismal interview for an investigator up there. It went well and we were able to work with the Elders there for a bit. Also, we had the opportunity to meet a member from Taiwan named Mark, who made us Curry for lunch (literally the nicest man I have ever met). Then we traveled back to HK, and we started preparing for the Talent Show! It was a great time, and we did a hilarious skit about how missionaries get ready in the morning. I think the members filmed it and are planning to put it on YouTube. If I get ahold of it, I will send it your way. But, yeah, that was basically the day.
Saturday, October 22:
Weekly planning in the morning, and then we had lunch with the other Elders. Then we did splits, and I was able to go with Elder Rees (It was a great time!). After about two hours of that, we had sports night and we were able to play a good game of 7v7. Then we spent the rest of the night contacting.
Sunday, October 23:
Pretty standard Sunday, church, correlation, lunch with the Holts, and then we tracted the rest of the day. However, we did do splits, so I was with Elder Anderson, which was a pretty good time.
Today, October 24:
We met up as a District and had lunch, visited a tower in HK, and played some board games!
So today I just wanted to share a verse I found during one of my studies this week. Here it is:

1 Timothy 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee…

I have seen during my mission that each of us possess gifts and talents. These are given us, that we might use them, to help others and to progress down that path time to our Heavenly Father. I know that as we use all of those things which our Father gives us, we live fuller and happier lives. For this is the design of a gift and the plan that our Father has for us. I know he gives us gifts and that he desires our eternal happiness, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Have a great week!
Happy days!
